History of the Fagoaga Hotel
The Fagoaga tower house is one of the earliest buildings in the Basque Country.
Built before 1495 by the Fagoaga family, it served as the centre of their economic activities,
mainly iron production as a forge, cider production and farming.
After careful restoration and modernisation, respecting the characteristics of the tower house,
maintain a unique essence in an impressive setting.
This is how our suite came about, located under a scientific reconstruction of how under-roof spaces were made
600 years ago, when astronomers defined the construction site and mathematicians were responsible for completing it.
